My Story
Hi there! My name is Leigh Malumay and I am from the beautiful island of Guam! I joined Scentsy 9 years ago. When I first started, I did not do anything for about a month. One day, I brought my samples to work and shared the various fragrances to choose from. My friends fell in love with the scents that either appealed to them or reminded them of a special memory. Can you believe that fragrance can do that??
My boss wanted to come up with an easy fundraiser to help donate funds to the American Cancer Society. I offered to coordinate a Scentsy fundraiser. We were able to donate $200 for the cause. From then, I discovered my passion to giving back to the community.
Since then, I have helped several schools raise funds for their student organizations, helped small local charities, and have done medical fundraisers!
Through the years, I've met many people along my journey. Many of whom have become wonderful friends and who continue to support my small business.
I also discovered that Scentsy provides great incentives! My very first all-expense paid trip was a Mediterranean cruise! Never in my wildest dreams would I be able to complete something on my bucket list! I thought I had to be retired to enjoy a cruise! Nope! Not with Scentsy!
I also never thought I would be leading a team of 200 other consultants! Me? The shyest girl from school? Yes! ME! My Scentsy journey helped me become the Star Director of Living the GUd Life Team! Who would have imagined? I would get so nervous when giving a speech. I still do when I have to do a training! Yet, I enjoy everything about it. Can you say that about your business?
My journey continues to take me to places I never thought I could go to. It has helped me grow as a business owner and as an individual. Scentsy definitely has been a blessing!
